Community Participation & Social Inclusion
Being connected to the community can support confidence, wellbeing, independence and a stronger sense of belonging.
Ideal Health Care provides individual and group-based support to help participants access activities, build relationships, explore interests and participate in their local community.
Our team works with each participant to understand what meaningful community participation looks like for them.
This may involve social activities, hobbies, recreation, volunteering, cultural events, appointments or simply becoming more confident when leaving home.

Innovative community participation
For participants who face barriers to traditional community activities, we can explore more individualised and creative ways to build social confidence and community connection.
This may include gradually introducing new environments, identifying activities based on personal interests or developing tailored opportunities that strengthen independence, relationships and participation.
